Eddie recently starred opposite Olando Jones, Garcelle Beauvais and Vivica A. Fox in Touchstone Pictures' "Double Take". Even more recently, Eddie co-starred with Denzel Washington and Robert Duvall in "John Q", directed by Nick Cassavettes for New Line Cinema.
Eddie is best know to television audiences as "Eddie" in the hit comedy series "Malcolm and Eddie" for UPN, a role which garnered him with a "Best Actor in a Comedy Series" nomination for the NAACP Image Awards.
Eddie also starred in Disney's box office smash "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo" as a wanna-be master gigolo opposite Rob Schneider. He was also seen in Alfonso Arau's "Picking up the Pieces" opposite Woody Allen, Sharon Stone, Fran Drescher, and Elliot Gould.
Having released one comedy album on Epic Records and "The Message" on Warner Brother's Records, Eddie recently formed his own independent record label, Bluelight Records. An accomplished musician, Griffin is a member of his own band, "Eclectic Divinity." |
